Take young space fans on an unforgettable mission to Mars with LEGO Technic NASA Mars Rover Perseverance. Modelled on NASA’s real Mars Perseverance Rover, this detailed building set gives kids an adventure that is truly out of this world. It is a great choice for children aged 10+ who love space exploration, science, technology and engineering projects.
This LEGO® Technic™ model is packed with features that help kids learn more about the challenges of exploring Mars. The rover includes 360° steering, movable arms and fully articulated suspension, allowing the vehicle to maintain traction on all 6 wheels as it travels across uneven surfaces. Other buildable details include a power unit, antennae, cameras and scientific instruments, giving the model an authentic NASA-inspired look and feel.
The set also includes a buildable toy version of NASA’s Ingenuity helicopter, which accompanied the Perseverance Rover and was used to test powered flight on Mars. Kids can conduct their own test flight, explore how the rover and helicopter work together, and imagine future missions across the Red Planet.
The adventure continues with an augmented reality app experience, which brings the mission to life and lets kids learn more about the environment on Mars and the rover’s real mission. With the LEGO® Builder app, young builders can also follow intuitive instructions, zoom in, rotate the model in 3D, save sets and track their progress as they build new skills.
As part of the LEGO® Technic™ range, this model introduces young LEGO builders to the world of engineering through realistic movement and mechanisms. It combines creative building, hands-on learning and imaginative play, making it a strong gift idea for kids with a passion for space, science and technology.
